Kizimkazi is suited for the best deep sea fishing grounds. The Indian Ocean is famous for excellent game fishing as well as variety of fish such as “Barracuda, Wahoo, Dorado, Striped Marlin, Yellow Fin Tuna, King Fish, Mackerel Tuna, Skipjack, and Bonito etc.” Besides these species of large game fish, other tropical game fish “swordfish and Sail Fish” are frequently found during the year. The best time to Fish is from September to early December and February to April.
We will take a half day boat trip from Paje (South East of Zanzibar) at around 6am, trolling down towards Kizimkazi and Bedford bank to fish around. We will be heading back to Paje around 10am. During the fishing trip we will provide mineral water, soft drinks, and sandwiches etc.
